Each top is carefully handcrafted to your individual needs and preferred taste, the grain and character of the timber distinguishes your interior as unique. Starting as rough sawn lumber, every top is made from grain matched laminations which gives clients freedom of timber choice, thickness, and lamination width. With a wide range of timbers, colours and finishes available there is a solution to any of your specific requirements, preference and budget!
Our standard thickness for timber benchtops is 40mm, but we can manufacture solid timber benchtops anywhere from 20mm up to 150mm+ thick.
The laminating process is all done in house and tops are grain matched and joined in a ‘full stave’ configuration. This is a seamless construction method resulting in a high-end timber panel. The typical lamination width is 40mm for optimum strength & durability, however we can cover benchtops with laminations up to 90mm wide with our standard warranties.
We recommend all joins and cut-outs to be done in our factory where possible so we can ensure they are completely sealed & finished to our highest quality. Any sinks would usually be fitted before leaving our factory so the benchtop is right ready for installation.
