What wood types and finishes are available?
Our premium floating shelves are available to order directly from the website in Euro Oak, Euro Walnut, or Eco Bamboo in standard or custom sizes. Beyond these three signature options, we can also handcraft bespoke shelves from any premium wood species featured in our Timber Gallery. Every piece is finished in your choice of high-quality Osmo oil, or Two Pack Polyurethane.
How much weight can your floating shelves hold?
Designed for high-capacity practicality, our solid wood shelves utilize a heavy-duty hidden bracket system. When properly fixed into wall studs, they can securely support up to 10kg, making them an exceptional option for books, kitchenware, or commercial displays.
Can these shelves fit between two walls?
No, our standard floating shelves cannot be installed flush tightly between two existing walls. This is because our high-strength Striplox mounting system requires a minimum of 32mm of horizontal clearance next to the shelf to slide the unit sideways securely into place. However, if you are looking to fit a shelf tightly between walls, please contact us directly—we can easily provide an alternative fixing method to accommodate alcove installations.
